Students must complete 120 credit hours that include 40 hours of general education and 80 hours of nursing major courses. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required, and all Nursing Core courses need a ‘B’ grade or better.

Entry Criteria & Prerequisites

You’ll need an associate degree or diploma in nursing and an active, unrestricted RN license to qualify for the RN to BSN track. Students enrolling in Florida’s hybrid format must have a Florida RN license. This program welcomes graduates from associate degree programs in nursing, nursing diploma programs, or associate degrees in applied science in nursing.
The Traditional BSN program has its own set of prerequisites. Students must maintain a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0. The BSN Program Director or designee conducts a personal interview, and the BSN Admission Committee must approve your application. You just need to score 60 or higher on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) within three attempts in a 12-month period.
The Accelerated BSN track requires a bachelor’s or graduate degree in a non-nursing field. Your cumulative GPA should be 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or 3.0 GPA in your last 60 credits). You must also achieve a TEAS score of 67 or higher.
