Students with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree can opt for the Direct Entry MSN (DEMSN). Students take 80 total credits, maintain full-time status with 15-17 credits per semester, and complete 225 lab hours and 800 clinical hours in care settings of all types.

Entry Criteria & Prerequisites

Students interested in the Advanced Standing B.S. in Nursing program need an associate degree or 60 credit hours in liberal arts courses.
Academic standards require you to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. Your science prerequisites must reflect an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. While general prerequisite courses need a grade of “C” or better, science admission courses require at least a “B-“.
The prerequisite science courses include:
