Victory College of Nursing started its educational trip in 2019 and welcomed its first students in spring 2021. The college’s founder, Dr. Esther B. Kekii, started a mission to bridge the growing labor gap in healthcare by providing professional nursing education.

Victory College’s BSN program prepares graduates to practice professional nursing in a variety of healthcare settings. Students learn adaptive leadership skills that promote the knowledge needed to succeed in the nursing profession. On top of that, the program helps foster culturally competent healthcare delivery through a comprehensive approach based on current evidence to optimize patient outcomes.

Victory College of Nursing offers multiple BSN program tracks to accommodate different educational backgrounds:

• Traditional BSN: Complete pre-licensure program for first-time nursing students
• Accelerated BSN: Designed specifically for graduates with prior bachelor’s degrees in other fields
• FastTrack BSN: For students with previous college credits meeting general education requirements
• RN-BSN: Builds upon associate degree or diploma nursing education

The program combines online/virtual instruction for general education classes with onsite synchronous learning for core nursing components. Students complete clinical aspects at healthcare facilities under clinical instructors’ guidance. This hybrid approach provides flexible yet complete nursing education.

Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree upon completion. They become eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), the final step to get registered nurse licensure.

It’s worth mentioning that Victory College of Nursing’s programs have approval from the Florida Board of Nursing and licensing from the Commission for Independent Education (CIE), Florida Department of Education. However, the institution is currently not accredited by any Accrediting Bureau. The college reserves the right to change curriculum, tuition, fees, or other program aspects to work effectively.

Available Program Tracks

Victory College of Nursing has several BSN program pathways that match your educational background and career goals. Each track meets different student needs and upholds high academic standards.

The Traditional BSN Program requires completion of 120 credit hours and runs for about 24 months (104 or 208 weeks). This detailed program runs year-round through Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Students need a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and all Nursing Core courses need a grade of “B” or better to move forward.

The Accelerated BSN Program gives you the quickest way to get your nursing license if you have previous higher education. We designed this program for students who already have a bachelor’s or graduate degree in another field. The program consists of six 8-week semesters, and takes 18 months of nursing core coursework after you finish all prerequisites.

The FastTrack BSN Program works best for students who have some college experience and might have completed their general education requirements. You’ll need at least 60 college credits to qualify. This program takes six 8-week semesters (18 months) of nursing core courses once you complete all prerequisites.

Licensed registered nurses can advance their education through the RN to BSN Program, which builds on their associate degree or diploma-level nursing education. You can finish this flexible program in 52 weeks through four 8-week semesters. Choose between hybrid or on-campus learning formats based on what works for you. Just like all BSN options at Victory, you’ll need 120 credit hours to graduate.

Flexible Learning Formats

RN to BSN students get even more flexibility. You can pick either hybrid or full campus learning based on what suits you best. The program runs for four 8-week semesters and takes about 52 weeks to finish. Your timeline might be shorter if you have transfer credits.

The Traditional BSN program also offers flexible general education classes through hybrid delivery, while core nursing courses happen on campus. Victory College adapts to different learning styles without cutting corners on quality.

Entry Criteria & Prerequisites

Victory College of Nursing’s BSN programs have specific academic and non-academic admission criteria that vary by program track. Each prospective student must complete an application form and meet with the nursing program director or designated admission advisor.

Traditional BSN track candidates need a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students can also qualify by scoring 65% or higher on the TEAS examination, HESI, or college entrance examination, with a maximum of two attempts allowed. Students who already have a baccalaureate degree with a 3.0+ GPA don’t need these entrance exams.

Students seeking admission to the Accelerated BSN track should have a bachelor’s or graduate degree in a non-nursing discipline with a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, or a 3.0 GPA in their last 60 credits. The FastTrack BSN option requires 60 college credits from accredited institutions with a 3.0 GPA or better.

Students must complete several requirements before enrollment. Each track demands a satisfactory background check and drug screening. Students also need complete immunization records and health screenings.

The Traditional BSN pathway’s academic prerequisites include minimum “C” grades in anatomy/physiology, microbiology, life span development, intermediate algebra, and general education courses. Students’ prerequisite courses must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

RN to BSN track candidates must graduate from an associate degree nursing program or diploma in nursing. They need a current, active, non-restricted RN license in their state of residence.

Victory College of Nursing has approval from the Florida Board of Nursing and licensing from the Commission for Independent Education. The college currently holds no accreditation from any Accrediting Bureau.
